After returning from a Fall semester in Argentina, where I spent more time playing and watching soccer than playing Ultimate, I have come back to join a B team with the goal of making Regionals; the same goal of the previous year only this time around with new rookies and a roster with a few familiar faces. We have the athleticism, talent, and even more importantly the intensity and drive. We’re putting it all together to do our best. I love this team.. I can’t sleep at night when I think about playing Ultimate for Pitt. Pitt B at Regionals: I want it more than you do.
After a year with Sabah the success of this team has become more important than academics and a career. Those can wait for now. For 4 years I am going to spend my time getting better at a sport that depends not only on what the player can do for the team, but what the team as a whole can accomplish. This year, the B team is loaded with talent and potential, and the goal that we have set for ourselves proves that we have the drive and aspirations to make this team all that it can be. This team is something I love dedicating my time to because the cause is worthy: to make this team better than any other team out there while having some of the best times that I can remember.
